Jalan Jalan Japan is a Japanese Preloved Store that sell variety of preloved goods all the way from Japan. When I say variety, you can literally expect to find everything there - from kitchen appliances, clothes, shoes, toys, mobile accessories, sports section, luggage, to even surfing boards! All items are in great condition, some even still new, and you can find that it comes with great bargain which their pricing starts as low as RM1! Jalan Jalan Japan (JJJ) was started by Bok Marketing, an amalgamation of their Japan parent company - Bookoff Corporation Limited - a Japanese chain with 800 stores worldwide along with 27 years of experience in the reuse business, and also Koike, a 25 years old trading company in Malaysia. 

They have launched their first outlet last year at Skypark One City Mall at Subang Jaya, and now ready for their second outlet at 1 Shamelin Mall, Cheras, as the store opening will be on this 30th September 2017.

Daichi Shuzui, Bok Marketing Director, noted that Cheras was chosen because the traffic is good, it's not crowded there yet along with the large population. They also will look into expanding to other areas from next year onwards as their expansion plans. 

So, when I went to their 1 Shamelin Mall outlet pre launch last Saturday, I can assure you that I am going crazy as there are a lot of things that I want to buy there! Well you bet you will, as with those seriously super cheap prices, with a like new to good condition of each items, who didn't?! 😄

Picnic basket, tupperware, and variety of kitchen appliances from as low as RM1!

Jeans/Pants, handbags, dresses, fedoras, to scooter, roller blades and everything, ahh you name it! 😄

Yet of course, as a typical mom, I'm going crazy grabbing everything for my kids. I spent more hours at the kids-toys section and end up spending it all on their toys and stuff. I did laid my eyes on some great clothes - branded shirts, dresses and jeans, yet don't worry, I'll come back for more hahaha!

Today, Qeela nak share some news yang kinda latest and I bet most of you guys mesti first time dengar ni hehe. You guys pernah dengar Henna Eyebrows or Inai Kening tak?

Haa actually, these few weeks I've been trying #hennaeyebrows, and u guys know what, I'm totally happy and satisfied with it! 

Memang best sebab dengan Henna Eyebrows ni, dah banyak menjimatkan masa, menyenangkan kerja & confident jee Qeela rasa sebab eyebrows Qeela dah sentiasa visible, tak payah susah-susah nak lukis-lukis  anytime or whenever lagi hahahaha. 

Paling best sebab totally Muslim friendly, yelah nama pun #inaikening kan so bila nak solat or mandi manda and everything totally no problemo, haa tengoklaa gambar-gambar yang Qeela share below tuu, memang cengginii pakai diaa hehe 👍🏿😁 

Henna Eyebrows ni you guys just pakai sekali je, then boleh tahan around seminggu before kena pakai balik. Satu bekas ni memang berbulan boleh tahan / pakai tau, so it's definitely very #recommended, practical, menyenangkan & menjimatkan sangat tauu! 

Buat geng-geng takde kening mcm I ni, or jenis yang malas nak beriya makeup everytime nak keluar, or jenis yang selalu rushing nak keluar but nak jugak/wajib buat kening bila nak keluar tu kan, ha molek sangatlah you guys guna #eyebrowhenna ni jee 😁 

Nak pakai pon senang sangat je! 

1) You guys lukis bentuk kening yang you all nak or bersesuaian dengan you all. Boleh apply concealer jugak untuk nampak lagi kemas tak comot2 nanti

2) Apply Henna Eyebrow ni using eyebrow brush. Make sure kena kulit jugak / apply evenly tau jangan laa lompong2 pulak heheh apply smoothly yea 

3) Tunggu 10 minit or lagi lama lagi bagus sebab lagi pekat & tahan lama nanti

4) Lap dengan wipes / wet tissue. Siap! 😁

Haa senang jee kan. Sekali apply ni boleh tahan around seminggu, depends dengan jenis kulit or cara penjagaan muka you guys. And janganlah pulak uolls pegi apply segala chemicals stuff ke ape kat kening tu pulak nanti memang cepatlaa dia pudar kan heheh. Takat wudhuk, or basuh muka ke okaylaa.

In this post, I would like to share with you guys about my Eid's getaway plan. You see, usually, each year, we - the whole family - will make some plan, which to get out of our house, and having a family bonding and quality time altogether at someplace nice and everything. 

It's like the year end holiday kind of getaway, but in this case, it's on Eid. Since our grandparents died, our Eid had been slightly different from year to year. Then my mom starting to feels really tired and all each Eid, plus usually the early days of Eid our cousins weren't home so we're kind of nowhere to go since if it's not them to visit us, then we're going to visit them but all that usually takes place on 3rd Eid or so on. Hence, the strong feeling for this kind of Eid Family Getaway grows and we always try to make it happen. 

So as for this year, we're looking forward at several places already, yet here I am, wanted to share about that one place with you guys 😁 Since I rarely found the complete write up about this place but I'm sure we're all heard the name alright. To those whom still staying and reading, it's Desaru, hehee 😁

I know when we all said Desaru, of course the first thing that comes in our mind is the beautiful, calming beach, right? But did you guys know what other things to do, or nice places to visit there? Ahaa that's what I'm talking about! So since those kind of write up are rare to found, so, I'm taking my own initiative to did some research and compile all about it that I found great to go for my family getaway in here, as an info to you guys as well, yeah who knows some of you might needed it right 😉

Desaru is located on the eastern tip of Malay Peninsula - Johor - has clean sandy white unspoiled beaches and lush tropical forest, that been a home to many welcoming resort and lots of family fun activities to be try on. When it comes to beach resort, the one that I'll be booking is Lotus Desaru Beach Resort and Spa !

FYI, the Lotus Desaru Beach Resort and Spa is popular in here as well. Of course this is where I'll be planning on staying!

 

This resort is beautiful and seems like a castle from a fairy tales story. Inside, you'll be greeted by the nature of the trees, then there's an antique fire brigade cars and also a mini zoo. How cool is that, right? 

That's not all about this resort, as what excites me the most aside the beautiful beach is that this resort have their own waterpark, spa, offering various of fun sea sports activities, wide array of recreation activities to be choose from, lots of other packages available, various of dining places that I'm sure it must be yummy, and many more!

To be honest, I do fall in love at the first read with this resort and I love all those activities that are available there! Besides it's tiptop accommodations, these various activities available are also their strong suit I guess. Well just check them out via the link I've shared above yea guys! 😁

Okay so, even it seems like it's enough just by staying at the resort, doing all those fun activities that suits your style, let's play tourist all along sometimes too yea? I've check out several places to visit that I think is cool to go with family. Let's see here:-

1) Ostrich Farm

Found one at Teluk Ramunia, Kota Tinggi. I think we can visit before check in or on our way to Lotus Desaru Beach Resort. Of course, it's all about the ostrich here and yes please, riding one of the big bird is a must besides trying their eggs and everything 😁

 

2) Fireflies Watching

For a fresh seafood including lobster, bbq or western cuisine, we can count on Restoran Terapung Bujang, a boat next to mangrove wood. We can river cruise, fireflies watching, fishing, or even karaoke in here too. Everything sounds fun, eh? It's located at Sg.Lebam, only 3km off the main road Desaru-Kota Tinggi. 

 

3) Fisherman Museum & Fisherman Village

To be honest, this is the first time that I heard of Fisherman Museum and such, so yeah I think why not. It could be beneficial for someone whom only been surrounded by bricks and traffic jam all years long like me heheh. So, this museum which located at Tanjung Balau, has on display various fisherman's equipments, geological galleries and a guidance to marine navigation system. There are also souvenir shop that sells local crafted items. While as for the Fisherman Village that is also located at the same place, I think it's worth visiting too as not only for the fresh and tasty seafood, but also in order to get a glimpse of their community. 

 

4) Desaru Fruit Farm 

Well, let's get educated on the subject of tropical fruits, local herbs, wild bee's honey, or Bio Agriculture - all in entertaining and friendly manner. Located at Sg. Chemeran, Desaru, this is another family fun time as we're all gonna enjoy the fruits and everything 😊

 

Well, those places I insert above are just my add up. It depends, if you guys feels like the resort's enough, then just explore the resort, as I know it would be awesome too since there are literally, a lot of activities that you can choose from 😁 Link as I shared earlier yea. 

So, as for me, what matters is that all of our family members are having fun. If someone doesn't wanna go some place, then we don't have to, we just gotta do anything else or so. Point is, this is still just a plan. I'm not sure which one will the majority choose hehe. I'm fine with whatever and whenever it is this time. If it's you guys, what do you guys think? Last Sunday, on May 21st, 2017, I went to Kids Public Speaking event organized by Johan Speaking Academy, at Evolve Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

 

For your information, the founder of Johan Speaking Academy, Johan Ooi and Cherry Ho, has coached and taught more than 1000 kids to speak on stage since 2014. Johan is also the 2015 Peninsula Malaysia Public Speaking Champion. Besides that, he had represented Malaysia and competed in 2015 World Championship of Public Speaking that was been held at Las Vegas. Although he finished as the semi-finalist, I think that was such a big achievement, as he was been that far, competed with the best in the world. 

 

Johan was on the right end and Cherry was on the left end 

Both of the founder, Johan and Cherry, believes that soft skills like public speaking which gives kids confidence, is essential and very important in the working world. The ability to articulate messages and share stories will help ones to inspire and impact the world. I am too, believes that the ability to speak well is a lifelong skill that you need to use throughout your career and life. Since our school system focuses so much on academy, what about the ability to speak? Hence, here's this one of the best choice that you have - Johan Speaking Academy - in order to help your kids in improving and discovering their ability to speak, talent, confidence, and more. 

 

These kids at the academy went through a 10 weeks Kids Public Speaking programme, which gives them real life experience speaking on stage. They were also went to Little Kingdom in April for their brand ambassador programme, and now is their graduation finale at Evolve Concept Mall. Have you tried speaking at a shopping mall, in front of lots of people in public? I must say it's very impressive, watching them perform and confidently speaking on stage, and graduates there. I believe Johan Speaking Academy had helps them a lot, really, as when I heard the kids and their parent's speeches as well at the end of their graduation. It's kind of overwhelming and motivates as well. 😊

 

There are 135 kids graduates that day. For your information, their programme in this academy is open for kids age 7 to 12 years old, comes in English and Mandarin session. Their next intake for 10 weeks is in September 2017, so yes it's such a golden opportunity for you guys to grab the seats and take advantage of it. As from the event, some of the kid's speeches title were like The Best Time Of My Life, Bullying, My Father My Hero, Do What Makes You Great, and more. Most of them were very engaging, and some even carried out such big topics for a little kids, like environmental problem and else. As I said earlier, it was really impressive. I still can recall what Kim, from the Bangsar's branch said that day on her speech, 'Kids learn when they have fun', and yes I agreed with that. 😊 

There were also Kid's Colouring Contest, products engagement, Gratitude Messages corner, and else too so yes it's such a fun event and great for both kids and parents as well 😁

 

 

 

 

So yes I hope we all could motivates ourselves and our kids, or even our nieces and nephews, or grandchildren, to read, to learn, to confidently speaking in more than 1 language, and more. Those that they could adapt from this kind of great programme. It's definitely not such a waste, I assure you. ☺️ May you guys enjoy those pics that I enclosed as well from that event.

Indeed, today I would like to share my experiences & points of view with you guys especially for those whom always wanted to eat outside but didn't have any idea where to go since they didn't want their kids to get bored or anything so they won't be twice as much tired or else. As a parent myself, yes I feel you hehe. 

This Ramadhan, of course, we would love to break fast outside too right, so, here's your golden pot, as I'm happily wanted to share with you guys. Who says you didn't have more choice or couldn't both shared much happiness while waiting for the break fast with kids? My take here is, let's go to Citta Mall, Petaling Jaya, for your breaking fast. Why? Okay here are some of the great choices that you have there :-

1) MBO Cinemas, Level 3

Before you think it's a bad idea, please read through. Because I've been there with my babies and it's fine and fun! While we're purchasing the tickets or waiting to get in for the movies, the kid's friendly decorations and theme there totally have the takes on kids, as the kids are busy playing with the lego space next to the ticket counter! I bet you could finished your movie and they didn't even bored yet with their legos there hehe. Not just that, they love taking pictures with the movies stand around, or even play with the childhood games right in front of the exit. What's cute is that, even the yellow walkway is inspired by the movie Alice in Wonderland, which happened to be my daughter's favourite movie and of course, she totally loves it there! ❤ Let's look at the pictures below and see it yourself how happy the kids are 😁

 

 

 

2) Times Bookstore, Level 2

So after having fun at the MBO, we're headed down to Times Bookstore. I am such a bibliophile so of course, seeing those books totally make me going to my own world smiling hehe. As for my kids, they are going nuts too as there are lots of interesting children books and toys for them too! So here's the best time for you to pour interest into your kids so that they can learn to love books and reads too. Totally beneficial too, right 😊 Here's some pics of the bookstore and those two books are totally caught my eyes and stealing my heart! 

 

 

  

 

3) iDiscovery Kids, Level 1

Here's another favourite pick of mine. For those who didn't know, this is the place where you can bring your kids for such a great and innovative science learning programme - since they're specialise in after school programme, holiday science camp, science workshop, and even science activities for birthday party and gathering. Their programme are specially designed for kids from age 4 to 12 years old and they really brings out spectacular experiments for children that are fun, stimulating and definitely educational. Even for such a brief time there, seriously, it's not only the kids, but we parents are having fun and educational times too! Just look at the pics and vids below 😁

 

 

 

 

4) Mr. Dalgakbi, Level G

Lastly, the time is nearer for breaking fast, so, since we're feels like having Korean food, to Mr.Dalgakbi we go, hehe. I bet many of you have been eating here, yet maybe there are others who didn't yet, so here's my share. I do love the foods! There are two types of main dish that we ordered there, the spicy for parents and non spicy for kids hehe. Since I'm not into spicy food, so my favourite of course will be the non spicy pick of the day! Hehe. The kids loves it and eat there with no fuss, from the first moment been seated, they enjoyed watching the chef cooking our food, then enjoying the meal till the last bit before we go home with such a full stomach and filled with happiness 😁❤

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before I ended my sharing here, one more thing that I noticed that is great at Citta Mall is that they have Parents Room on each level of this mall. I didn't go in but I can see what's in there and get the idea of it's purposes. It's such a great facilities, like nursing room for mommies, you know. Here's the picture of that room :-

Being with kids shouldn't limit you because there are choices, and of course, no one would disagree that the fact being with kids totally brings out the happiness itself is true.
