Happy Saturyayy & happy weekend to all! In case ada yang tengah looking forward nak makan-makan / jalan-jalan luar this weekend or next, jom I suggest you guys pergi ke Janda Baik, Pahang - Figgy's Cafe - including Karya (art gallery) yang around the cafe area juga! 

Alright so last weekend me and my family went there to have our lunch and sightseeing. My dad & stepmom actually already went there before and they said that the cafe truly serves good food, hence, this time they both nak bawa me and my siblings untuk try makan di sana as well hehe, hence there we go.

Dengar macam jauh kan, yet actually, kalau dari Subang area, it took around 45 minutes macam tu je (during this Raya season guys!) untuk sampai ke Janda Baik, Pahang. Perjalanan pun tak rasa jauh actually, and upon arriving tu, leka betul yea tengok the scenery sepanjang jalan naik ke Janda Baik tu, sebab cantik betul dan sangat menenangkan rasa bila tengok. Indeed it was my first time to went up there, happy tau pergi tu hehe. 

Untuk dapatkan direct / full location, korang boleh Waze je 'Figgy's Cafe' okay. Tak susah pun direction dia, serious hehe. Okayyy so now that kitorang dah sampai tu, dari luar nampak comfy dan luas Cafe ni, cantik tersusun, nak ambil gambar around the cafe pun nice sangat, giving such good & instaworthy vibes juga hehe! Strategic as well since bersebelahan dengan surau dan next inside the Cafe ada their own Fig Farm (Figgy Farm) which they do open for visit to all tau. Selain itu, ada Art Gallery juga namely Karya, which open for everyone too. Toilet pun available nearby, so yess no fuss untuk makan dan lepak kat sini to all heheh.

Okay macam yang korang boleh tengok dalam my video tu, gitulah suasana Cafe tu yea. Buah-buahan fresh dan sedap, juicy dan refreshing rasa as appetizer sambil nak order hehe. Too bad I terlupa pula nak snap gambar menu untuk Set Masakan Melayu tu, truly apologise yea guys! Yet I can share briefly with you guys regarding their menu there okayy. 

Ada banyak pilihan makanan yang you all boleh pilih tau, dari citarasa masakan Melayu, hinggalah ke Western Food, desserts, dan Wagyu pun ada in their menu! Cumanya unfortunately kitorang tak dapat nak try Wagyu since stock tak sampai lagi pulak at the time, hence it's okay lah perhaps next time ada rezeki to try hehe. 

Bagi Masakan Melayu, korang boleh pilih either set ataupun add on lauk pauk. Ada beberapa jenis set yang korang boleh pilih, which are : 

Kari Ikan Jenahak

Asam Pedas Jenahak

Set Kari Ikan Jenahak / Set Asam Pedas Jenahak 

(Set didatangkan dengan : Nasi + Timun + Telur masin + Sambal + Kari Ikan / Asam Pedas Jenahak) - boleh pilih nak part Kepala / Badan / Ekor yea, price range dari belasan ringgit ke RM3+ if I'm not mistaken 🙏

Set Ayam Goreng Berempah / Ikan Goreng + Telur Itik Masak Lemak 

(Set didatangkan dengan : Nasi + Timun + Telur masin + Sambal + Ayam Goreng Berempah / Ikan Goreng + Telur Itik Masak Lemak) RM13 per set

Selain set lauk di atas, korang boleh juga set lauk lain ni tau, dan boleh juga if nak pilih untuk add on lauk je / telur dadar etc okayy.. Antara pilihan lauk pauk lain yang available adalah : 

Ayam Masak Lemak, Daging Masak Halia, Ayam Masak Kicap, dan Daging Masak Halia Bentong (each set untuk lauk pauk lain ni pun berharga belasan ringgit - around RM13 macam tu juga seingat I)

Alright settle bab Masakan Melayu, now pilihan untuk Western / Wagyu / Sharing + drinks pula : 

Actually dekat Cafe tu ada menu card yang lebih updated menunya tau,

contoh ada chicken chop crispy (RM17), chicken grill (RM20), etc

Yezzaa memang banyak pilihan yang I think boleh kena sangat dengen tekak semua orang, be it kids or adults. Kalau tak minat nasi, boleh pilih nak burger ke, lamb chop ke, pasta ke, haa macam kitorang gitulah yang kitorang order hehe, korang boleh tengok our order of the day kat dalam my video tu yea 😁 

Seriously, semua yang kitorang order tu sedap-sedap belaka! Nasi dan lauk pauk tu memang tak rugi cuba, sebab kuahnya sedap pekat padu secukup rasa, ikan / ayam pun fresh, dengan portion yang besar dan banyak, memang kenyang makan semua. Asam Pedasnya tu, bak kata my family, rasa macam lepas ni repeat sini jelah instead of ke Melaka haha. While Kari Ikan pun memang padu, kuah pekat secukup rasa, memang puas hati makan, boleh repeat lagi! 

Western foodie pula, I truly recommended Chicken Grill set (RM20) serious sedap - daging ayam yang di grilled tu sangat lembut, juicy, gravy pun sedap, mashed potato pun ummphh memang tasty & creamy, along with fresh chef salads, portion memang cukup buat penuh perut happily haha! Lamb Chop (RM28) pun didatangkan dengan sides yang sama, sangat puas hati, cumanya daging lamb dia tu kalau dapat lagi lembut, mesti lagi umpphh hehe. Not that dia tak lembut, senang je to cut and eat, yet for me I prefer lamb yang more tender, medium to medium well kinda cook. But I think this one pun suits nicely to most people punya taste generally lah okayy, since dagingnya still okay, tidaklah liat pun heheh. Gravy (black pepper sauce) pun sama sedap, loveee sebab balance rasa black pepper tu, tak overpowering their overall taste, so memang suits perfectly with the meat & side dish.

As for drinks and desserts, I think korang boleh check out my brief review kat dalam my video tu jelah yea, basically for juices memang fresh, terasa buahnya dan manisnya secukup rasa, air lain-lain pun okaylaa macam biasalah kan hehe. Desserts boleh pause tengok dalam video for review yea hehe. Overall, kitorang semua sangat puas hati dengan all food that we ordered and had that day, and would love to repeat makan di sana lagi nanti insyaAllah hehee. 

Haa yang ni bonus - as I mention dalam my video review tu, I included this cafe punya Fig Farm, dan juga Karya Art Gallery tu kan, haa so for me, perfect sangat untuk datang with families + kids sebab selain makan-makan, ada jugalah aktiviti-aktiviti lain yang boleh kita buat bersama-sama dengan our kids / families. Interesting kan lepas makan or sebelum makan boleh visit dan tengok sendiri Fig Farm, definitely will learn something from that visit and love that the figs that they serve in their cafe ni semuanya fresh from their own farm! Since my kids memang minat arts, so diorang join Painting Class di Karya tu after kenyang makan hehe. They totally had their fun, and so cute sebab boleh bawa balik hasil tangan mereka sendiri, siap boleh jadikan as perhiasan / in gift form tau since they gave the magnetic tape as well, so memang letak kat fridge lah jawablah hehee. Such a unique and fun experience to visit and dine in at this Figgy's Cafe, a lovely time with our family as well, thank you for such a great service, food and hospitality to all Figgy's Cafe as well as Karya's staff team. Haa, senang sangat kan nak masak guna pes ni?! Hasilnya pun memang puas hati tau, sebab kuahnya tu tak cair, secukup rasa tanpa perlu tambah anything else ketika memasak (bagi I yang tak kuat garam ni, ianya agak masin sikit actually tapi boleh adjust dengan lebihkan sikit kuantiti air yang perlu ditambah masa memasak tu okayy), then pedas dia pun memang kick la bagi I. Since I ni jenis tak makan pedas, uish pedas betholl yeaa for me tapi sedapp tau huu, habis licin jugakla sepinggan tu I makan sambil terpaksa bersulam air sejuk manis before end dengan ice cream kitkat nak bagi lidah

I memang suka betul bila dapat yang memudahkan dan menjimatkan masa untuk memasak ni tau, lagi-lagi bila hasilnya tu pun puas hati. Almaklumlah, as a mom & wife, macam-macam benda nak settle on my daily basis especially on weekdays kan - dengan ulang alik anak-anak sekolah lah, nak kena settle baju-baju lagi, mengemas bagai, memasak lagi, belum masuk kerja-kerja I yang lain as creator / blogger kann so haa bila adanya pes-pes masakan macam ni, memang happy dan tak terkejar-kejar lah I nak siapkan makanan di atas meja untuk seisi rumah haa gittuuu hehee. 

Oh ye I dah ada try juga Sambal Sentap tu actually 3-4 kali dah, I guna untuk masak Bihun Goreng, dan juga masak masakan bersambal macam Sambal Udang, Sambal Sotong dan Ikan Goreng Sambal. Eh sedap jugak Sambal Sentap tu tauu, memang best sebab boleh gunakan dalam pelbagai variasi, nak makan dengan nasi as side macam tu je pun boleh, atau gunakan untuk masak bersambal macam yang I buat tu, memang sedap dan padu rasa dia okayy! Lepas ni seriously boleh buat stock yang must have kat rumah lah Sambal Sentap ni sebab memang sangat memudahkan, pelbagai, senang guna, jimat masa dan hasilnya semua jadi sedap pulak tu!
