Weekend Activities : S2 Hill Park, XCafe, & Port Dickson

Salam and Hi lovelies!

Today I'd love to share some of the activities that can be done during off days or weekend at Seremban, which I bet everyone be it adults or kids, can enjoy doing it.

So, as per last weekend, me and my family started our day early in the morning by heading on to the Port Dickson area, planning for a brief picnic by the beach. We had our breakfast outside, which around the Port Dickson (PD) area as well, just by searching for a stall via Waze app since we're not sure where to eat for breakfast that day heheh. Actually, we went to our fav place before head on to PD, but too bad the place was packed with people already, hence, we decided to just have our breakfast at PD.

So, based from Waze, we chose to go to this Capati Kari Kambing Nani, as it managed to grab our attention and crave for the Capati Kambing as well heheh. The stall located around 1.7km away from the beach, we easily found it. We're happy with the food as the Capati and Roti Canai are fluffy, easy to tear and eat, while their gravy (Kari Kambing) is not that bad too, indeed such a satisfying pair with the meat truly cooked through as it fall off easily the moment we pinched for a bite. Their service are okay too as they're fast to serve and everything looks good. Only their drinks aren't quite suits us, but that's okay, no biggie for us. Oh and on the other hands, there are monkeys around and nearby, hanging out and waiting for food too it seems, yet no they didn't come near people or snatching anyone's food. Felt like such unique eating out experience to be honest hahah! Indeed, if you're afraid of monkeys, perhaps it's better if you choose to sit away from the trees, okayy? Overall, it's good there.

Alright after having 4 pcs of Capati Kari Kambing in my tummy, chilling by the beach is perfect for our next move hehe. Mind you, don't forget to bring picnic blanket / mattress, sand castle tools, and your bathing suits etc too as per usual beach moment thingy. We're there for few hours while the sun is shining lovely still and cozy, the breeze greeted you happily and the water feels good too on your skin. In addition, the beach are not packed with people too during early hours of the day, well yeah I believe you know the drill, right?

We went back home after the beach, rest a bit before we went out again later that day for some exercise and sight seeing by the park. Yes, here comes the S2 Hill Park to be ticked off the list heheh. If you guys noticed, we have variety of parks here at Seremban right? Indeed that include one of this famous Hill Park, the S2 Hill Park, located at S2 Heights area. In case you didn't know, visitors need to park their vehicle alongside the road before climb up to the hill park. I think it took around 15 minutes to walk up to the Hill, which we enjoyed too as we can admire the scenery while enjoying the fresh air during our walk.

As for the Hill Park itself, I think it's great there and perfect for any kind of ages, especially family with kids. There are variety of things to try and play up there, including playgrounds, tracks to jog / walks, trees info guide, mini flying fox section, mini wall climbing, Dinosaur landscapes, etc. There are also public toilet and the entrance are free for all yea, in case you're wondering. We truly had so much fun there and such a great place for exercising while sight seeing indeed, feel free to watch my video below for full view or more clips of the hill okayy.

Okay after we done burning our calories while finding sunset at the Hill Park, we decided to have some dinner first at XCafe, XPark Bandar Sri Sendayan, on our way home. I actually had share about this one great coffee the other day on my IG & TikTok posting, which actually you can find it around the same place here at XPark okayy hehe.

As for this XCafe, you can find variety of stalls and foodie all under one roof, like a cafeteria indeed. You can see it from my video above as well okayy as I included the snippet of when I'm at the cafe, showing you the ambience there heheh. There'll be buskers too entertaining you while you eat, and yes guys I totally recommended you guys to try the Ikan Bakar, so yummy! The drinks there are good too, we ordered juices to pair with our Ikan Bakar set, totally refreshing and we're happily full afterwards. As for desserts, we tried the waffles with ice cream there, but sorry we can't finish the waffles as it came out too hard for our taste, perhaps they mislook upon making the the batter or wrong oven setting or something, I'm not sure. Other than that, it's all good. I think we'll come again to try other stalls / foodie there another day, and overall this XCafe is a good place to eat.

Well, I guess these sums up our day during the weekend. It's great to do these kind of activities regularly, together, as it can tighten the family bonding. We definitely are having such great time as well as manage to exercise too while enjoying such beautiful scenery and fresh air, definitely good for our body and mentally too. So, in case you're out of idea where to go or what to do, perhaps you can try these activities too!

Hope my sharing here could help somehow. Thanks for stopping by lovelies. Take care and have a great day ahead to all of you!

Aquaria KLCC Fast Lane Tips and Deets!

Olla lovelies!

Hehe okayy so our mini staycation details continued here for the Aquaria KLCC visit. Seriously, what I did literally made our visits easier and smooth upon that day, which was on weekend. To be honest, the queue is like crazy upon our arrival that day, well, it's weekend right, gotta expect that. My hubs literally thanked me for get it settled smoothly so that we can just directly enter without any hustle and worries hehee.

Shark wefie! Weehuuu

Not sure if you guys know, but since from our observation, and there are also some friends that asks, hence I think it'll be great to share the deets here regarding how and where to get the cheaper entrance tickets without the need to queue to enter as well.

Alright, so upon planning our mini staycation, we decided to buy Aquaria KLCC tickets online. I've search for the best price offered across lots of platform, and finally found this agent on Shopee which I think is okay to try based from their great reviews. FYI, they are not only selling tickets for Aquaria, but various other fun attraction that you can get at promo price too! Gotta say that it definitely worth it to save / like and followed them for future vacay activities and staycation hehe. You guys can check them out via these links below here yea :

Aquaria KLCC ticketsCLICK HERE

Seller's PageCHECK IT OUT!

They offered the entry tickets for only RM21.70 for children (instead of RM39 per pax), and RM31.70 (instead of RM49 per pax) for adults. Those got us saving much right! Indeed they're trusted agents as upon purchasing, they promptly replied my chats and after I made my payment, they emailed me the tickets within just few minutes! I love how fast they assist their customers and they even suggest to us to make a booking at Aquaria so that we can get in for sure at the time and date that we want without worries and everything.

So basically, the trick to get in without the need to queue and to be sure that you can enter at that preferred day (because do note that Aquaria KLCC only open for 400 visitors per day, so yes first come first serve especially on weekend) is that, after you buy your tickets via your preferred platform (mine is definitely this agent, which I totally recommended), and then you go to Aquaria booking page HERE to book your preferred visits.

On that booking page, you can choose your preferred date and time to visit, along with how many of you guys that will come. There'll be selection of time at each hour for each day, so be sure to choose which is the closest that suits you to go. After you submit your booking, the Aquaria KLCC team will email you your booking confirmation, so yasss you're good to go!

This is the booking confirmation email from Aquaria KLCC team

These are some of tickets example, as you can see there are unique QR Code for each tickets that you purchased. These examples consist of Child entrance ticket and Adult entrance ticket

Upon arriving there, all you need to do is just show your booking email, and then show them the e-tickets that you've bought earlier for them to scan the QR code on that e-tickets, in order for you to enter. Yes, just that, easy and smoothly in hehe. Seriously it's super convenient and saving lots of time (and money when you buy the cheaper price tickets hehe) even on weekend, where there are packed with people there. They did followed the SOP there no worries, but personally I think if you can go on weekdays, that'll be much better, since it's kinda too packed on weekend which make you not satisfied enough to roam around inside freely within your own time. You know, when there are less people, you doesn't have the urge to get out fast, get away, right? Feel free to check out some of these pics below that I've took while we're in there :

Please remember this! Huhuu

These are the shark's life cycle, with it's live condition. Interesting!

Jellyfish life cycle

It's truly fun inside, as you can learn and see lots of things, especially live Aqua animals, their life cycle, what's dangerous for them, yeah, it's great to spend time there. My kids definitely love their visit to the Aquaria as they do loves animals and sea vibes too. They always get fascinated whenever they can watch and get close to those habitants, and get to learn some things too. Indeed yes, it's such a great place to visit and bring your kids, as they'll definitely enjoy it hehee.

Some of cute gifts you can get there

The sharks are sleeping hehee

King Crab just chillin

Let's swim with them hehee

Well, I guess that's it for my sharing. Hopefully this can be beneficial for you all too. In case you haven't check out my sharing regarding my staycation at nearby Tamu Hotel & Suites, feel free to click and read HERE okayy hehee. Thanks a lot for stopping by yea, may you guys have a great week and ahead, take care okayy lovelies!

A Visit to Melaka Crocodile and Recreation Park

Salam and Hi lovelies!

First of all, I wanna wish a Happy New Year
to all of you, may this 2020 would bring
much better in everything to all of us.

Indeed this is our first trip in 2020, well more
like a visit though since at first we just wandering
around Melaka city for shopping and foodie etc,
then on our way home later in the evening, we
decided to visit this Melaka Crocodile and
Recreation Park a.k.a Taman Buaya dan Rekreasi
Melaka, which is located at Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
You can simply waze for their exact location okay hehe.

My kids never been there and since they do loves
animals, so that’s perfect to visit. It’s been a while
that we haven’t go to any zoo or animal farm as well.
The ticketing are affordable too especially for MyKad
holder, since average ticket costs is just below RM20.
Kids 4 years old and below got free entrance, so the
total ticket entrance for us four that day was RM52 hehe.
You can see the full ticket pricing as per attached
below yea for more clarity :

Got this via their IG page, credit to : @tamanbuayamelaka

Alright so upon entering, we decided to walk around
first, directly going to those crocodiles. There are various
types of crocodiles as well as others such as Emu Bird,
rabbit, and fish as well, but indeed mostly are crocodiles.

You can find around 10 or more, along with variety of
gates and surrounding for each, I guess it’s depends on
the types of the crocodiles. We’re indeed amazed and glad
that we went there as we learnt various things about
crocodiles too, especially the types and what each are like.

For example, there are crocodiles that can jump up to 5 feet,
which is the Frog Crocodile and also that’s how they got their
name. I mean, that’s amazing and scary at the same time right!
I never knew that haha and upon reading the facts there,
I’m basically withdrew myself a bit from their gate haha!

The Hunchback Crocodile. When you see it with your own eyes,
you'll be able to clearly see their hunch at the back.

This is the Froggy one if I'm not mistaken hehe sorry
as I kinda mixed up which is which already

Can you spot the differences with this one?
YES it's their mouth shape!

Another unique types of crocodile is the Hunchback crocodile,
which they literally are got the hunch at their back. Yes for real
and I kinda swayed looking at their hunch! Visiting this park
makes me realize that crocodiles literally have different kind of
skin, colour, even mouth shapes and all.

One that we will never forget is this crocodile named Harris,
such a clever one really! If you wanna know what Harris did
that is so clever, feel free to watch this full video here as I’ve
compiled the visit there along with the amazing moment
with Harris there as well hehe :

Feel free to watch yeaa!

Before we ended our tour, we managed to get close to their huge stuffed crocodile
as well as more infos regarding crocodile’s life in this front section
there. There are displays of crocodile and anaconda fetuses,
along with their eggs, bones structures and everything. Those definitely are
informative and interesting, you can watch it in the video above as well.

This is the full pic of that stuffed crocodile

Close up pic of the stuffed crocodile

You can see more close up etc in the video as attached above okay

If you must know, there are also a ghost house, deer farm, and
mini statues park as well inside (you can see them in the video as well),
and you can also experience the show provided by their team there during
weekend at several scheduled timing. It must be fun but too bad as we
missed the show since we got there late huhuu.

Yet still, we definitely are having fun and really glad that we pay a visit
there since we does learnt so much too and it’s such a great experience
to see those crocodiles and all up close too! The kids definitely enjoyed
their time there as finally they can see up close and learnt a lot
about crocodiles there.

Overall, that is such a great visit and perfect as family bonding
time as well for us over the weekend to go there.
If you’re planning on a road trip to Melaka or looking for
places to visit there, feel free to check this Melaka Crocodile
and Recreation Park, especially when you all loves animals
and nature.

May my sharing here is somewhat beneficial / helpful to you all.
Feel free to share what you think or if your own experiences
in the comment below or on my IG post on this in case you’ve
went there too recently, as I’d love to read them!
Till then, have a great start of this 2020 and thank you
all for stopping by yeaa! ❤️

My Eid's Family Getaway Plan

Salam and hello lovelies!

In this post, I would like to share with you guys about my Eid's getaway plan. You see, usually, each year, we - the whole family - will make some plan, which to get out of our house, and having a family bonding and quality time altogether at someplace nice and everything.

It's like the year end holiday kind of getaway, but in this case, it's on Eid. Since our grandparents died, our Eid had been slightly different from year to year. Then my mom starting to feels really tired and all each Eid, plus usually the early days of Eid our cousins weren't home so we're kind of nowhere to go since if it's not them to visit us, then we're going to visit them but all that usually takes place on 3rd Eid or so on. Hence, the strong feeling for this kind of Eid Family Getaway grows and we always try to make it happen.

So as for this year, we're looking forward at several places already, yet here I am, wanted to share about that one place with you guys 😁 Since I rarely found the complete write up about this place but I'm sure we're all heard the name alright. To those whom still staying and reading, it's Desaru, hehee 😁

I know when we all said Desaru, of course the first thing that comes in our mind is the beautiful, calming beach, right? But did you guys know what other things to do, or nice places to visit there? Ahaa that's what I'm talking about! So since those kind of write up are rare to found, so, I'm taking my own initiative to did some research and compile all about it that I found great to go for my family getaway in here, as an info to you guys as well, yeah who knows some of you might needed it right 😉

Desaru is located on the eastern tip of Malay Peninsula - Johor - has clean sandy white unspoiled beaches and lush tropical forest, that been a home to many welcoming resort and lots of family fun activities to be try on. When it comes to beach resort, the one that I'll be booking is Lotus Desaru Beach Resort and Spa !
FYI, the Lotus Desaru Beach Resort and Spa is popular in here as well. Of course this is where I'll be planning on staying!

This resort is beautiful and seems like a castle from a fairy tales story. Inside, you'll be greeted by the nature of the trees, then there's an antique fire brigade cars and also a mini zoo. How cool is that, right?

That's not all about this resort, as what excites me the most aside the beautiful beach is that this resort have their own waterpark, spa, offering various of fun sea sports activities, wide array of recreation activities to be choose from, lots of other packages available, various of dining places that I'm sure it must be yummy, and many more!

Since I am a loyal user of Traveloka , of course I did read and found more info about this awesome Lotus Desaru Beach Resort at their sites, and directly booking there too. You guys can check it out HERE yea 😉

Let's see some of this beach resort's pics that I save for you guys to be drooling together with me hehee :-

A compilation of here and there of this resort 😃

bbq at night is a must! ❤

one of the awesome activities that you can choose!

more fun activities to be choose from! ❤

To be honest, I do fall in love at the first read with this resort and I love all those activities that are available there! Besides it's tiptop accommodations, these various activities available are also their strong suit I guess. Well just check them out via the link I've shared above yea guys! 😁

Okay so, even it seems like it's enough just by staying at the resort, doing all those fun activities that suits your style, let's play tourist all along sometimes too yea? I've check out several places to visit that I think is cool to go with family. Let's see here:-

1) Ostrich Farm
Found one at Teluk Ramunia, Kota Tinggi. I think we can visit before check in or on our way to Lotus Desaru Beach Resort. Of course, it's all about the ostrich here and yes please, riding one of the big bird is a must besides trying their eggs and everything 😁

2) Fireflies Watching
For a fresh seafood including lobster, bbq or western cuisine, we can count on Restoran Terapung Bujang, a boat next to mangrove wood. We can river cruise, fireflies watching, fishing, or even karaoke in here too. Everything sounds fun, eh? It's located at Sg.Lebam, only 3km off the main road Desaru-Kota Tinggi.

3) Fisherman Museum & Fisherman Village
To be honest, this is the first time that I heard of Fisherman Museum and such, so yeah I think why not. It could be beneficial for someone whom only been surrounded by bricks and traffic jam all years long like me heheh. So, this museum which located at Tanjung Balau, has on display various fisherman's equipments, geological galleries and a guidance to marine navigation system. There are also souvenir shop that sells local crafted items. While as for the Fisherman Village that is also located at the same place, I think it's worth visiting too as not only for the fresh and tasty seafood, but also in order to get a glimpse of their community.

4) Desaru Fruit Farm
Well, let's get educated on the subject of tropical fruits, local herbs, wild bee's honey, or Bio Agriculture - all in entertaining and friendly manner. Located at Sg. Chemeran, Desaru, this is another family fun time as we're all gonna enjoy the fruits and everything 😊

Well, those places I insert above are just my add up. It depends, if you guys feels like the resort's enough, then just explore the resort, as I know it would be awesome too since there are literally, a lot of activities that you can choose from 😁 Link as I shared earlier yea.

So, as for me, what matters is that all of our family members are having fun. If someone doesn't wanna go some place, then we don't have to, we just gotta do anything else or so. Point is, this is still just a plan. I'm not sure which one will the majority choose hehe. I'm fine with whatever and whenever it is this time. If it's you guys, what do you guys think? I still have time because booking with Traveloka totally make it easier anywhere, anytime 😉

I hope my write up here is somehow or somewhat beneficial for you guys and may you guys enjoy reading it. Happy Eid in advance and have a safe journey and fun holiday with your loved ones yea! Thank you for reading, till we meet again ❤
