Hehe sorry for title yang macam over je pulak but to be honest, I didn't expect, like totally, tak expect langsung yang my daughter's punya bento box that I bought boleh jadi tumpuan at all. 

Okay ceritanya begini, after months kita bermco di rumah, finally sekolah pun buka semula, with the new sop and all of course. So one of those are, murid-murid sekarang ni makan di dalam kelas, dan digalakkan untuk membawa bekal beserta alatan makan seperti sudu, garfu, pinggan etc sendiri ke sekolah. 

Before this, my daughter actually ikot mood dia je bila nak bawa bekal, but ever since dia start sekolah semula tu, dia decided untuk setiap hari nak bawa bekal ke sekolah. Senang katanya, since if beli di kantin, dia takut tak sempat nak makan sebab ramai, so lambat nanti dengan nak turun ke kantin, beratur beli and everything kan. I think that's better too, so yes I prepared lah belikan bekal yang baru untuk dia - which siap dengan sudu, garfu dan handle, untuk memudahkan dia makan dan bawa bekal tersebut ke sekolah. 

At first I nak cari yang ada Frozen or Unicorn, things yang dia suka kan, but tak jumpa pula one with the bento design yang I nak for her tu (bekal siap handle dan cutlery, medium size). Banyak yang I jumpa if cartoon macam tu, mesti tiada handle dan size kecil. Even Smiggle pun tak menepati dengan apa yang I cari for bento haha (since dia minta juga tu Smiggle huhu). I sampai terfikir maybe kena beli jugalah asing-asing siap dengan lunch bag etc untuk senang dia bawa (yes sebab tengok Smiggle banyak yang cute kan hehe), in case still tak jumpa juga style bento yang I nak tu kan. But yassss I'm so happy bila finally ada jumpa bento yang menepati apa yang I bayangkan, haha!

So I beli je yang ada jumpa tu, which I think super lowkey kot bento tu sebab memang plain je, no cartoon etc, yet look nice juga laa sebab colour soft pink. I think untuk dewasa pun sesuai tu hehe. Thank god she's excited with that too, since ada handle and cutlery semua kan so ok lah I lega lah dia tak kesah dapat bento simple without her Elsa or Unicorn etc tu kan hehe. 

Okay yang ni handle bento ni, and ada 4 clip untuk tutup so yes sturdy and confident nak bawa hehe

This bento ada 3 compartment kat dalam, size pon okaylah tak terlalu besar yet tak kecil, sesuai la boleh buat dan muat macam-macam kind of bento meals. As you can see here, I bekalkan nasi, memang dapat kenyang betul la portion dia kan hehe

Balik sekolah dari first day tu, she told me that ramai betul yang tanya bekal dia, tengok-tengok dan berminat, siap ada cikgunya tanya beli kat mana juga! I was like, whattt, tak sangka sangat boleh attract tumpuan ramai sebab serious I thought bekal dia lowkey gila, like takkan adalah yang nak tengok haha. So that went on like the whole week, ada je yang suka belek-belek bekal dia, and even after that kawan-kawan dia rajin la nak tengok dia bawa apa pula huhu (okay that another part which is about bento food part lah pula kan haha)

Alrightttt I think tu je lah kot sharing I for today hehe. Last Sunday, on May 21st, 2017, I went to Kids Public Speaking event organized by Johan Speaking Academy, at Evolve Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

 

For your information, the founder of Johan Speaking Academy, Johan Ooi and Cherry Ho, has coached and taught more than 1000 kids to speak on stage since 2014. Johan is also the 2015 Peninsula Malaysia Public Speaking Champion. Besides that, he had represented Malaysia and competed in 2015 World Championship of Public Speaking that was been held at Las Vegas. Although he finished as the semi-finalist, I think that was such a big achievement, as he was been that far, competed with the best in the world.

Both of the founder, Johan and Cherry, believes that soft skills like public speaking which gives kids confidence, is essential and very important in the working world. The ability to articulate messages and share stories will help ones to inspire and impact the world. I am too, believes that the ability to speak well is a lifelong skill that you need to use throughout your career and life. Since our school system focuses so much on academy, what about the ability to speak? Hence, here's this one of the best choice that you have - Johan Speaking Academy - in order to help your kids in improving and discovering their ability to speak, talent, confidence, and more. 

 

These kids at the academy went through a 10 weeks Kids Public Speaking programme, which gives them real life experience speaking on stage. They were also went to Little Kingdom in April for their brand ambassador programme, and now is their graduation finale at Evolve Concept Mall. Have you tried speaking at a shopping mall, in front of lots of people in public? I must say it's very impressive, watching them perform and confidently speaking on stage, and graduates there. I believe Johan Speaking Academy had helps them a lot, really, as when I heard the kids and their parent's speeches as well at the end of their graduation. It's kind of overwhelming and motivates as well. 😊

 

There are 135 kids graduates that day. For your information, their programme in this academy is open for kids age 7 to 12 years old, comes in English and Mandarin session. Their next intake for 10 weeks is in September 2017, so yes it's such a golden opportunity for you guys to grab the seats and take advantage of it. As from the event, some of the kid's speeches title were like The Best Time Of My Life, Bullying, My Father My Hero, Do What Makes You Great, and more. Most of them were very engaging, and some even carried out such big topics for a little kids, like environmental problem and else. As I said earlier, it was really impressive. I still can recall what Kim, from the Bangsar's branch said that day on her speech, 'Kids learn when they have fun', and yes I agreed with that. 😊 

There were also Kid's Colouring Contest, products engagement, Gratitude Messages corner, and else too so yes it's such a fun event and great for both kids and parents as well 😁

 

 

 

 

So yes I hope we all could motivates ourselves and our kids, or even our nieces and nephews, or grandchildren, to read, to learn, to confidently speaking in more than 1 language, and more. Those that they could adapt from this kind of great programme. It's definitely not such a waste, I assure you. ☺️ May you guys enjoy those pics that I enclosed as well from that event.

Indeed, today I would like to share my experiences & points of view with you guys especially for those whom always wanted to eat outside but didn't have any idea where to go since they didn't want their kids to get bored or anything so they won't be twice as much tired or else. As a parent myself, yes I feel you hehe. 

This Ramadhan, of course, we would love to break fast outside too right, so, here's your golden pot, as I'm happily wanted to share with you guys. Who says you didn't have more choice or couldn't both shared much happiness while waiting for the break fast with kids? My take here is, let's go to Citta Mall, Petaling Jaya, for your breaking fast. Why? Okay here are some of the great choices that you have there :-

1) MBO Cinemas, Level 3

Before you think it's a bad idea, please read through. Because I've been there with my babies and it's fine and fun! While we're purchasing the tickets or waiting to get in for the movies, the kid's friendly decorations and theme there totally have the takes on kids, as the kids are busy playing with the lego space next to the ticket counter! I bet you could finished your movie and they didn't even bored yet with their legos there hehe. Not just that, they love taking pictures with the movies stand around, or even play with the childhood games right in front of the exit. What's cute is that, even the yellow walkway is inspired by the movie Alice in Wonderland, which happened to be my daughter's favourite movie and of course, she totally loves it there! ❤ Let's look at the pictures below and see it yourself how happy the kids are 😁

 

 

 

2) Times Bookstore, Level 2

So after having fun at the MBO, we're headed down to Times Bookstore. I am such a bibliophile so of course, seeing those books totally make me going to my own world smiling hehe. As for my kids, they are going nuts too as there are lots of interesting children books and toys for them too! So here's the best time for you to pour interest into your kids so that they can learn to love books and reads too. Totally beneficial too, right 😊 Here's some pics of the bookstore and those two books are totally caught my eyes and stealing my heart! 

 

 

  

 

3) iDiscovery Kids, Level 1

Here's another favourite pick of mine. For those who didn't know, this is the place where you can bring your kids for such a great and innovative science learning programme - since they're specialise in after school programme, holiday science camp, science workshop, and even science activities for birthday party and gathering. Their programme are specially designed for kids from age 4 to 12 years old and they really brings out spectacular experiments for children that are fun, stimulating and definitely educational. Even for such a brief time there, seriously, it's not only the kids, but we parents are having fun and educational times too! Just look at the pics and vids below 😁

 

 

 

 

4) Mr. Dalgakbi, Level G

Lastly, the time is nearer for breaking fast, so, since we're feels like having Korean food, to Mr.Dalgakbi we go, hehe. I bet many of you have been eating here, yet maybe there are others who didn't yet, so here's my share. I do love the foods! There are two types of main dish that we ordered there, the spicy for parents and non spicy for kids hehe. Since I'm not into spicy food, so my favourite of course will be the non spicy pick of the day! Hehe. The kids loves it and eat there with no fuss, from the first moment been seated, they enjoyed watching the chef cooking our food, then enjoying the meal till the last bit before we go home with such a full stomach and filled with happiness 😁❤

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before I ended my sharing here, one more thing that I noticed that is great at Citta Mall is that they have Parents Room on each level of this mall. I didn't go in but I can see what's in there and get the idea of it's purposes. It's such a great facilities, like nursing room for mommies, you know. Here's the picture of that room :-

So, I hope my post here will be beneficial for you guys, be it uncles and aunts, parents, grandparents or anyone. Being with kids shouldn't limit you because there are choices, and of course, no one would disagree that the fact being with kids totally brings out the happiness itself is true. And yesss, let's go to Citta Mall with your kids, or nieces and nephews, or grandchildren, and having lots of fun together at these places I've mention above! You won't regret it!

Did you know that this is such a rare occasion? Where you're easily changing your baby's diaper or even no need to 'wrestle', trying to make them wear it? Haha I know right, common situation for most parents, yet lovely moment for sure. 😊
