Last Friday (28/3/2019), I went to IJM Land 

Half Marathon 2019 Press Conference at 

IJM Land Seremban 2 Office. 

As we all know, this event is the most awaits 

and talk about each year, especially by 

Serembanian folks whom looking forward 

to join and also those whom practicing such healthy 

lifestyle and into fitness as well.

For those whom are not familiar with this event, 

no worries, you guys can check out my 

previous entry upon this. 

I’ve shared about previous marathon HERE yea.

Okay so, for this year, we have a special guest 

that attended the Press Conference, whom happened 

to be a successful and well known Serembanian 

as well, Mr Owen Yap, the TV Host & News Presenter.  

Besides that, we have our organiser - 

Dato’ Hoo Kim See, IJM Land Berhad’s Senior General Manager,
along with the Platinum Sponsor for this year, 

Mr Sean Wang, Chief Operations Officer 

from Allianz Malaysia Berhad, 

and also Mr Eugene Chan, Group Managing Director 

from EC Pixels, for the sharing sessions 

and launch of IJM Land Half Marathon 2019. 

For this year, IJM Land is determine to make another

successful comeback, with targetting around 

10,000 runners. They are not only aims to attract 

Malaysians, but looking forward from runners 

all around the world, at the same time encouraging 

fitness amongst the community as well as raising 

the awareness of healthy living by taking them 

on a competitive, adrenaline-filled race. 

This year tagline of - “Run Together, Bond Stronger” 

definitely reflected upon how dedicated IJM Land are 

in every occasion since 2012 to bring the community 

together, and in this, running towards a positive lifestyle. 

As we all know, every year, the fund raised from this 

event will be channeled towards two charities, namely 

the Pertubuhan Hospice Negeri Sembilan (Hospice) 

and Malaysia Lysosomal Diseases Association (MLDA).
Therefore, same for this year as well, which 

they pledge to donate RM5 from each registration 

fees at IJM Land Half Marathon 2019 to both charities.

at Dataran Centrio Seremban 2 (as start/finish)
on 4/8/2019 (Sunday) starting at 6 am.

As a fellow Serembanian myself, 

we all know that the IJM Land Run 

has been around since 2012, 

as this sporting event had received such 

tremendous response in solid interests 

amongst Malaysians thus becoming 

one of the must attend events 

that running enthusiasts look 

forward to each year.

Indeed, this year’s IJM Land’s 

annual event - 

the IJM Land Half Marathon 2018, 

is scheduled to be held on 

12 August 2018 (Sunday), 

starting as early as 6am to 11am, 

which also targetting 

9000 runners globally!

Me, at the press conference of this event

Yet all of you must know 

that this event is not being 

just as such a platform for runners, 

but also to create and preserves the 

community bond among people 

as well as with nature, 

bringing everyone from 

the elders nor youngsters, 

friends and family, 

altogether enjoying such a healthy sport, 

as reflected in their tagline :

‘Run Together, Bond Stronger’. 

As one of the ten local developers 

that been honoured with the 

‘All Star Award of Top Ranked 

Developers of The Year’ recently,

I do think that their motivating 

tagline does speaks 

for themselves somehow right.

Run For A Good Cause :

Not to forget that as same 

as previous years, 

the funds that raised from 

this event will be channelled 

towards two charities - 

the Pertubuhan Hospice 

Negeri Sembilan (Hospice) 

and also the Malaysia Lysosomal 

Diseases Association (MLDA) , 

as they (IJM Land) recognises 

the crucial roles of each of these 

organisations play in order to 

improving the quality of life 

for the less fortunate

This year’s IJM Land Half Marathon 2018 

offers categories of 21km (Half Marathon) 

and 12km respectively for men and women 

age 18 years and above 

as well as boys and girls junior 

age 13 years and above. 

There are also a new category 

will be introduce - 

the 5km for individuals 

18 years and above 

for those who wants 

to be part of the fun.

This race will be start and finish 

at Dataran Centrio, Seremban 2 

(Opposite Mydin Seremban 2).

Those who aren’t familiar,

Dato’ Hoo Kim See, Senior General Manager of IJM Land Berhad with the two of First participant of 21km Women & Men Veteran Category for this year : 

Mr Ong Kim Hwa (Oldest runner of 2017, age 84 this year guys!) 

and Ms Chrisy Wong (runner of 2017 as well)

Prizes :

The fastest man and woman of the race 

will be announce as well, 

whom each will be in the running to receive 

the grand and unique IJM Land 

Half Marathon Challenge Trophy - 

with the objective of celebrating 

the runner’s greatest running moments. 

Not to mention that all runners whom 

have completed the race regardless of their 

category will also be taking home goodie bags, 

along with a custom made Finisher Medal 

and certificate as well.

Hehe honestly, title di atas bukan untuk buat gempak tau tapi.....memang anda semua kena baca post ni sebab ada news yang best yang Qeela nak bagitau kat semua, especially warga Seremban dan juga yang stay di sekitar Seremban. Serious tak rugi baca, haa scroll lagi bawah yea Qeela explain.

Okay so actually semalam (Rabu, 8 Nov 2017) Qeela attended a press conference untuk Seremban 2 'Fit & Foodie Carnival 2017' di IJM Land Sales Office. Memang best! Turut hadir, special guest for the event ialah Dato' Chef Fazley Yaakob, Masterchef Celebrity Malaysia & Artiste, dan juga Miss Goh Liu Ying, Silver Medalist of the Rio Olympics 2016. 

Semasa ucapan dari Dato' Hoo Kim See, Senior General Manager of IJM Land Berhad (gambar),  beliau ada menerangkan mengenai karnival yang bakal berlangsung tersebut sejurus sebelum merasmikan pelancaran karnival ini bersama-sama dengan special guests kita tadi. So now, as a Serembanian as well, dengan gembiranya Qeela nak share info tu semua dengan you guys!

Seremban 2 Fit & Foodie Carnival 2017 ini akan diadakan pada 19hb November 2017 (Ahad), bertempat di Seremban 2 Sales Gallery, bermula dari pukul 9 pagi sehingga pukul 6 petang. Karnival ini memang sangat sesuai untuk seisi keluarga dari semua peringkat umur. Pelbagai program menarik diaturkan pada hari karnival tersebut, antaranya :-

1) Meet & Greet with our special guests

- Buat pencinta masakan dan fitness, anda berpeluang untuk berjumpa dengan Dato' Fazley Yaakob dan juga Miss Goh Liu Ying, dimana terdapat demonstrasi masakan, perkongsian skill & tips di samping mengamalkan lifestyle yang sihat, selain perkongsian untuk kehidupan yang sihat dengan cara-cara untuk kurangkan stress dan sebagainya. For me, inilah masanya untuk you guys dapatkan tips terbaik daripada dua icon kita ni kan!

2) Contests

- Pelbagai contest menarik pada hari tersebut yang boleh disertai seperti Ms & Mr Fit Fashion Icon, Best Jazzercise Dance, Colouring Contest untuk kanak-kanak, Recipes Corner contest, selain sesi Lucky Draw up to 30 prizes tau khas buat IJM Land's property buyers! Note that pada 18 & 19 November ini ada promosi istimewa dimana potential buyers boleh dapat extra rebates ketika membeli any of IJM Land's properties, so yes inilah masanya bagi mereka yang tengah searching out for properties tu yea 😁

3) Interesting Stalls etc

- Terdapat pelbagai games stall yang menawarkan free gifts, vouchers, photo booth, fitness activities, giant bubble, balloon clowns, fit & foodie bazaar, oh dear god serious macam-macam yang best boleh kita explore seisi keluarga and I'm sure our kids mesti happy sangat-sangat if dapat pergi ke karnival ni! Jangan tak tahu juga, pelbagai foodtrucks pon ada nanti! As a foodlover, of course, dengar foodtruck je pon dah happy & tak sabar nak pergi kan hehe! Bagi geng-geng yang extreme sikit, no worries, sebab Wall Climbing dan Bungee Run pon ada tau selain Zumba, Jazzercise & Kinetic Cycling. 😁

4) Charity Donations

-  Sambil kita bergembira tu, tidak dilupakan juga pada yang memerlukan. In that case, terdapat 2 jenis donation campaign yang boleh kita sertai di karnival ini, iaitu firstly, Hair Donation campaign - the first in ASEAN dengan collaboration bersama Locks of Hope, in order to provide a platform for public untuk mendermakan rambut mereka untuk dijadikan sebagai rambut palsu buat pesakit kanser. Secondly, kempen menderma darah buat yang memerlukan juga diadakan. So for those yang intend untuk menderma either way, bolehlah berbuat demikian pada hari karnival tersebut. 😊

Well, itulah sedikit sebanyak info yang Qeela nak kongsikan dengan semua berkenaan karnival Fit & Foodie 2017 ni. Macam best kan?! Oh ye before I forget, those yang berminat nak join contest yang ada tu nanti boleh register dulu di IJM Land Sales Office by 10 November ni yea. So yes hurry guys, few days left ni hehe!
